Joimo networking wants to cultivate an attitude of success, enthusiasm and positive energy amongst our group while working towards a common goal which is to grow each and everyone's business. The most difficult part for a lot of professionals is simply meeting people. Whenever someone new comes in or someone you may not recognize we highly recommend that you make them feel like they have always been part of this cohesive group.
It is recommended that you bring a lot of business cards to each meeting because you never know who you will meet. We also strongly suggest you take at least one business card from each member of the group.
Commitment to the Group
If you feel someone in the group has done poor work is not living up to expectations please inform the president or vice president.
The fee will cover room, food and entertainment. Alcoholic drinks will not be included but drink specials will be available throughout our meeting.
President- Will be in charge of starting off the meetings and making sure everything runs smooth. All issues and questions should be addressed to the president.
Vice President- Replaces the president in case the president is not able to make it. The vice president will oversee day to day operations in the networking group.
Secretary- Will take notes during the meeting. Each week and e-mail will be sent out to the group highlighting the main topics.
Treasurer- Make’s sure people are up to date on their dues.
Marketer/Event Planning- Plans the meetings and any outside events. Responsible for recruiting professional positions unfilled.
Social Chair- Makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves and feels welcome
Each member can bring a visitor/referral to a meeting as long as that visitor is not of the same profession as others within the group, signs in, and brings business cards.
Who Can Join?
Joimo networking only allows one individual from each profession to join the group. To make sure each person is reputable we will ask for two referrals upon application to join the group. The purpose of this is to maximize your ability to conduct business without worry of competitors. Once this spot is filled we will review your membership on a semi-annual basis to ensure you are a good fit for the group.
